Our Team - Tami Robinson

Tami Robinson, CPC, ELI-MP

Program Manager

Tami serves as Program Manager for StudentsCare, where she oversees all student chapter and Buddy program operations and supports ongoing program growth. In this role, she provides leadership training to Chapter Leaders and works closely with volunteers and partnering site staff to ensure programs are impactful, sustainable, and aligned with organizational goals.

A caregiver at heart and an educator by training, Tami brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University and has completed coursework toward Child Life certification. More recently, she became a certified resilience and well-being coach, with a focus on supporting caregivers and individuals navigating grief.

Tami has a lifelong passion for working with children and families. While raising her three children, she spent several years as a substitute teacher and remained deeply involved in her community. Her volunteer experience spans a variety of youth-focused roles, including service through her church, hospital volunteering, and facilitating a local support group for grief support.

Tami’s work is deeply informed by her personal caregiving journey. As the primary caregiver to her husband, who battled brain cancer for 13 years before ultimately passing away, she gained profound insight into the emotional, physical, and relational impact a serious medical diagnosis can have on individuals and families. This experience fuels her passion for supporting those navigating complex medical challenges and reinforces her commitment to compassionate, relationship-centered care.

She is grateful for the opportunity to combine her personal experience, professional training, and love of teaching in her role at StudentsCare—serving as an advocate for pediatric patients, older adults, caregivers, and loved ones during some of life’s most difficult moments.
